Have had these knives now for several months and they are AWESOME! The chef's knife feels a bit dainty in the hand at first, but I quickly got used to that. The vegetable knife was a game-changer from the word 'go'. Also, this basic set is a great deal compared to buying the knives separately, and you avoid the unwanted knives that you will usually find in large sets.
